Vocal Improvisation
First time in the Czech Republic: vocal improvisation with Giulia Matteucci (CVI)
New dates: Friday, November 6, 2026 – open evening, Saturday, November 7, 2026 – one-day workshop. Registration is now open.
Giulia Matteucci brings to Prague the approach of Collective Vocal Improvisation (CVI), where music emerges from listening, presence, and shared creation.
For singers as well as complete beginners: you can explore your voice without pressure to perform, develop perception, creativity, and the ability to respond within a group – even without prior experience in improvisation.
In her work, she creates a safe and open space where every voice has its place and music arises from the present moment.

About the organizer – Kateřina Hodková
Music has been part of my life since childhood. Alongside my main professional activities, I have long been engaged in music in various forms, including working with the voice, which has also led me to organize this event in Prague.
Together with Giulia, we are currently participating in a two-year Taketina Teachers Training. As part of this process, we will also offer an open Taketina session as an invitation to a gentle experience of rhythm, voice, and movement.
Details will be added soon.
